Using Another “New” Domain To Promote Our Vacancies

18th July 2016 by Michele Leave a Comment

we-want-you

As I mentioned recently, we’re currently hiring for a number of roles, with more in the pipeline.

One of the things we’ve done a terrible job of in the past is promoting ourselves as an employer. It’s something we’ve been working on addressing (a topic I’ll return to soon I hope!)

So one of the things we will be doing in the next short while is launching a dedicated “careers” site .. and since we sell domains and love them we’ve grabbed a .careers domain to do the job for us. For now it’s just redirecting to a page on our main site..

Using a “custom” domain extension for something like running our careers site (or sub-section of our main site) is a bit of a “no brainer”. The domain name is semantically linked to the content you’d expect to find on the site.
